ACADEMIC EVALS
In 2007, my university mentor, Glen Griffiths, passed away after battling a long-term illness. Shortly after, my college reached out, asking me to take over his courses for the upcoming semester. At the time, I was working as a Games Tester for Sony, so I spent six months juggling both roles—teaching during the day at St. Helens College and testing games at Sony by night.

This hectic period led to an offer as a 3D Artist at Rebellion Games in Liverpool, but by then, I had discovered a deep passion for teaching. After four years in game development, I pursued my terminal Master’s degree and transitioned fully into academia. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of teaching as a Head Instructor in Australia, a Program Leader, a Track Leader, and an Assistant Professor at institutions across the U.S.

While I’ve managed and contributed to AAA titles with major studio publishers, nothing has been more fulfilling than guiding and mentoring my students. Below, you’ll find links to my class and professional reviews from my time in academia.
